Unit Brief: You will be given a steel bottle opener which you will disassemble and modify to produce a basic functioning bottle opener insert.
You will then receive three layers of 3mm acrylic sheet each measuring 100mm x 50mm which you will then attach to the metal component using glue. Once bonded you will shape your chosen design by cutting, sanding and polishing using a range of tools and materials. |

Must: Stay within the material limitations of the project. Should: Your bottle opener should demonstrate an understanding of ergonomics and feel comfortable in the hand. Could: Remember there is plenty of opportunity for unique design features and aesthetic details; think outside the box!. |

Your Project Folio is worth 20% of your final mark and is compiled of homework tasks and classroom activities. You will be required to complete the folio for homework and submit it to your teacher in order to get the best results you can! |
